“ My third stop in Noge for some sake is be Rock Miyagawabashi! Today, I met up with a drinking buddy on the way to Noge. The first stop was Charcoal Stand, the second was Hinode Barber Shop, and then my third stop was be Rock Miyagawabashi. I've been to the Noge store a few times, but this was my first visit to the Miyagawabashi store. First, we toasted with Ryuki Junmai Ginjo Pink Nigori on tap!! For the appetizer, we had Kurakake beans. For a side dish, we had dried persimmon cream cheese. The sweetness of the dried persimmon is just right... For my additional sake, I tried a comparison of Tenmei sake!! I enjoyed the difference in flavor after a year of aging!! ”

Takachiyo (Niigata) Junmai Namazake Red Yeast Rosé. The moderate acidity is pleasant. Delicious. While enjoying the appetizers, I asked for a recommendation for a sweet drink. Ikinomi (Mie) Tokubetsu Junmai Origarami. Gorgeous aroma. Slightly sweet. Just right. Today's recommended snack: Homemade nametake mushrooms on avocado. “ This is the second location of a sake specialty bar in Noge. I was taken here by a friend who is knowledgeable about sake. There were so many brands of sake, it was difficult for a novice to choose. The sake list is divided into recommendations for chilled and room temperature. The snacks are also delicious. It was a wonderful experience sipping sake while looking out over the Ooka River and the neon lights (?) visible beyond. Unlike the first location, the interior of the bar is clearly visible from the outside, so it doesn't feel like a hidden gem. Given its location in Fukutomi-cho, a more open bar like this might actually be easier to enter. ”
